Great staff, Great doctor. They take good care of our 2 dogs and cat all of which are elderly. We have been using Norwich Vet. Hospital over 3 owners and every experience from beginning to now has been positive
Our go-to provider for great veterinary care, Norwich Veterinary Hospital has been our provider through four (4) dogs: Dave, our Black Labrador; Leon, our Leonberger; Sisko, our Shepherd / Pit mix; and our current furbaby, Duke, our rescued Greyhound. The Vets and Vet Techs at NVH are always cheerful, courteous, sensitive to how our dogs are feeling, gentle, and efficient. We trust their recommendations and their treatment of our fur family members. Highly recommended - they're simply wonderful!
My family and I have been bringing our pets to NVH for years... all the way back to Dr. Graves. My current pet Ceydi is 14 now and has developed some ailments that have been handled and monitored very well by Dr. Jo and Dr. Baig - they have shown her respect and love with no difference of treatment no matter what age she is (love that!) - no matter what, they have her best interests at heart. Most recently I called because Ceydi was vomiting. Sue asked me very quick and important questions and indicated to definitely bring her in. I saw Dr. Carter that day and she thoroughly examined Ceydi and let me know that she feared a blockage and took xrays. The radiologist confirmed that and I rushed Ceydi to the emergency veterinary hospital in RI where she underwent surgery and care. Had the staff at NVH not been cautious and diligent with my girl, she would not have made it. The technicians (Heather, Tracy, Sam, Amber and Karen) are equally as wonderful and caring. To top it all off, Sue called me after to check on Ceydi. These folks saved my Ceydi’s life and deserve and have my utmost respect. Much respect to Amber and Janice for managing a wonderful organization! Thank you...a million times...thank you!
I had to bring my 20lb cat for a general health exam by myself. I couldn't get him into my cage so he was free balling in the car. I asked the front desk if they were able to provide a cage and get him out of the car.. they did with no questions!! They were all extremely helpful and nice. They were gentle and caring to my big kitty.. they made both of us very comfortable. I left the appointment not hurting my pockets and a free cage that they so nicely gave me!! 10/10 will recommend to anyone looking for an affordable vet with great staff.
A very decently operated location with good experienced employees. The main doctor demonstrates knowledge of his profession and has done well taking care of my pets. The pricing of this place is very good, better than other nearby locations.
